I was lucky to get off the flight.

I had to fly to a meeting in Washington from Portland. I had round-trip connecting tickets to Denver and a hotel booked for the night. My flight was delayed and I didn't have time for a transfer. the staff offered to rebook, but when it was my turn at the counter, they told me that they could rebook the next day, which completely makes my trip pointless. The company refused to put me on another plane or even reimburse me for my hotel expenses. But as it turned out, I was lucky, because if I had flown to Denver, despite the fact that I did not have time for a transfer, they also said wait a day and would have given me a blanket to sleep on the airport floor. With my travel experience, I can say that the countries that are called the 3 countries of the world in America are much better at solving such issues. I really hope that the airline will refund my money at least for the tickets, as they completely refuse to compensate for the rest of the expenses.
